Langdale Vallotton, LLP partner Rob Plumb presented a check for $1,000.00 to Officer Vernotis Williams and Chief Brian Childress of the Valdosta Police Department to help fund the VPD’s annual Shop With a Cop event. The program identifies needy children in the Valdosta/Lowndes area who may not have a good Christmas and partners them with a law-enforcement officer. Both the officer and child then shop at Wal-Mart and pick out Christmas presents for the needy children. Chief Childress later presented Attorney Plumb with the Chief’s Challenge Coin as a token of appreciation.
Donations are being accepted at the Valdosta Police Department until the event ends on December 22nd.
