Local Government and Municipal Law

Our municipal law team is lead by Rob Plumb, who has over 12 years in governmental law experience. Rob currently represents three local municipalities, providing legal advice on all areas of municipal law, including drafting ordinances, defending lawsuits brought against municipalities, and providing advise on contracts, negotiations with county and other local governments on SPLOST, water and sewer and other public service delivery strategies, annexation, land acquisition and funding for public works projects, Open Meetings and Open Records Act and other compliance issues. Rob is also the Muncipal Court Judge for the City of Remerton.
