Langdale Vallotton is proud to announce that Jessica Young was appointed to the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee by the Valdosta City Council.  The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is designed to provide decent and affordable housing, provide a suitable living environment and increase economic opportunities for citizens of the City of Valdosta. The Neighborhood Development Division oversees the CDBG funds and programs that include First Time Homebuyer Education and Down Payment Assistance Programs, Southern Hospitality Group Workcamp, and Single Unit Housing Rehabilitation Program.
Jessica will serve a four year term, ending in February of 2017.  We commend her for her service to the City of Valdosta.

Tina Folsom presents at the New Teacher Orientation at the Valdosta City School System and speaks on education law.

Pope Langdale and Tina Folsom secure a $42,000.00 verdict for a client injured in a parking lot accident. The client sustained $5,000.00 in medical bills and liability was disputed. This was an excess verdict over the policy limits with the insurer ultimately held responsibility for payment. The defendant and its insurer had refused to make any offer.

Pope Langdale was appointed to several committees of the State Bar of Georgia, including the Elections Committee, the In-house Counsel Committee and Lawyer Advertising Task Force.
